Stress and strains are part of human life and my life is no
different. There is work pressure, needs to perform at every stage of career
for furthering my ambition. Then there is personal tension, ups and downs in
life which causes emotional turmoil causing mental trauma and sadness. Then
there is the issue of time crunch. Neither I can devote time to my family and
friends nor have I time to rejuvenate myself. There is lack of physical
exercise; uneven sleeping pattern which was further aggravating my health
condition. I was falling sick very frequently. I tried out many things, met the
most reliable doctors but the solutions they provided were temporary and the
problems recurred after the medication was over. I needed a permanent solution to normalize my
life.
One of my cousin brothers who went through the same problem
asked me to practice yoga as he got very good results himself. His problems
were more or less same as mine and after taking to yoga he overcame the
problems and is living a much healthier life.
The word “yoga” came from the Sanskrit word “yuj” which
actually means “to unite or to integrate”. Yoga unites an individual’s own
consciousness and the universal consciousness. The three main pillars of yoga
are exercise, breathing and meditation. It treats the human body with care and
respect as it the vehicle with the help of which a human being works and grows.
Yoga in Shanghai
helps improve blood circulation, strengthens the abdominal organs, and creates
pressure on the glandular system of the body which translates into better
health condition.
One who practices yoga gains control over their breathing as
they slowly increases their breathing. This focus on breathing prepares them
for the next step which is meditation. Meditation results in a calm and quiet
mind.
Yoga actually designs physical poses and the breathing
methods develop the awareness of the body and this in turn helps individuals to
focus and provides relief from everyday stress and physical pains.
