Plan a diet for better health

I am an IT professional and the entire day I sit and work at the same position. There are times when my limbs start to ache just for sitting at a stretch for such a long hour. There was very little physical movement involved in my job. After a few months that I spent at the desk my health started taking a hit. I started gaining weight unusually. Not that my eating preferences have changed drastically but I did indulge in street food ones or twice a week. Weight became a real problem. I also started having breathing problems and my blood pressure started to fluctuate. My parents were really worried and took me to a doctor. He suggested me to exercise regularly and to follow a diet plan that will suit my nature and mindset.
I appointed a private physical trainer who would advice and motivate me on different exercise prescriptions. Along with a private trainer I met a dietician who made a diet chart for me. Not only she planned my daily diet and consumption levels but she also suggested me ways that would help me to stick to the plan.

Diet plan in Beijing broadly means consuming food is a regulated method to decrease or maintain the body weight. If it is used in combination with physical exercise one can yield better results.
I discovered that following a diet is never easy. There are craving for food at unusual hours. It took me a lot of time to change my mind set about food and health. I did not let go of my favorite items at one go but I have it in moderation. Also I write down each and every item I need to buy from the market so that I do not shop randomly. I stay responsible to my dietician by sending her daily updates about my diet.

These are few things I followed strictly and lost considerable weight. Weight lose in Beijing really improved my health condition and normalized and stabilized my weight gain issues.

Strengthening both physical and psychological health in order to improve lives

I am at an age when many diseases find their safe refuge in the human body. I am a middle age woman. At one point of time I was working but now I am completely a housewife. Both my children have left home to pursue their careers and my husband is busy with his work. For major part of the day I live alone and loneliness brings with it a certain kind of mental fatigue. Moreover I am suffering from severe back pain. Life was becoming slowly stressful. I wanted relief from both my physical and mental stress. I had a discussion with my friends and a lot of them suggested me to go for regular exercising with the help of a fitness trainer.
In accordance to their suggestion I appointed a personal fitness trainer. She provided me with exercise prescription. The most important thing she did is to motivate me and set goals and target for me to achieve within a time frame. She also guided me to achieve general wellness and also offered diet plan to follow.

Regular exercising solved my back pain problem to a great extent. Not only this it also enhanced my other physical parameters like my blood pressure level improved, my weight stabilizes. I had uneven sleeping patterns but now I sleep extremely peacefully.

To be fit in Beijing my trainer provided me with an aim to pursue in life. It gave me an enhanced motivation to live and achieve in life. This constant race with time to fulfill the set goals also took me far away from the mental boredom and tiredness.

I felt refreshed with the new beginning in my life and after a long time I was living solely for myself and was actually interested in looking after myself.
Mental health and physical health are interrelated issues and exercising keeps both in good shape.

Yoga- A way to rejuvenate and integrate

Stress and strains are part of human life and my life is no different. There is work pressure, needs to perform at every stage of career for furthering my ambition. Then there is personal tension, ups and downs in life which causes emotional turmoil causing mental trauma and sadness. Then there is the issue of time crunch. Neither I can devote time to my family and friends nor have I time to rejuvenate myself. There is lack of physical exercise; uneven sleeping pattern which was further aggravating my health condition. I was falling sick very frequently. I tried out many things, met the most reliable doctors but the solutions they provided were temporary and the problems recurred after the medication was over.  I needed a permanent solution to normalize my life.

One of my cousin brothers who went through the same problem asked me to practice yoga as he got very good results himself. His problems were more or less same as mine and after taking to yoga he overcame the problems and is living a much healthier life.

The word “yoga” came from the Sanskrit word “yuj” which actually means “to unite or to integrate”. Yoga unites an individual’s own consciousness and the universal consciousness. The three main pillars of yoga are exercise, breathing and meditation. It treats the human body with care and respect as it the vehicle with the help of which a human being works and grows.

Yoga in Shanghai helps improve blood circulation, strengthens the abdominal organs, and creates pressure on the glandular system of the body which translates into better health condition.

One who practices yoga gains control over their breathing as they slowly increases their breathing. This focus on breathing prepares them for the next step which is meditation. Meditation results in a calm and quiet mind.
Yoga actually designs physical poses and the breathing methods develop the awareness of the body and this in turn helps individuals to focus and provides relief from everyday stress and physical pains.

I have benefited immensely after taking to yoga and my mind and body is in complete harmony.
